We start our Zoom class by discussing the concepts we'll be exploring, and then kids are guided through unique hands-on, at-home activities. Class is live & interactive allowing your child to ask & answer questions throughout.
Each class includes an assortment of science experiments and activities that are sure to challenge & engage students.
Our After-School Program Themes
Sensational Science - Session 1
Sept. 23rd - Oct. 14
Get ready to touch, see, hear, smell, and taste what science is really all about! Ever wonder how a magnet can tell us where to go, why our eyes play tricks on us or what makes our sodas fizzy?
This special 4-week class is offered via Zoom and covers "Lights, Color, Action"; "Harnessing Heat"; "Tantalizing Taste"; and, "Sonic Sounds". A second 4-week session will include the remaining classes.
Sensational Science - Session 2
Oct. 28 - Dec. 2
Get ready to touch, see, hear, smell, and taste what science is really all about! Ever wonder how a magnet can tell us where to go, why our eyes play tricks on us or what makes our sodas fizzy?
This special 4-week class is offered via Zoom and covers: "Magnetic Magic"; "Optical Illusions"; "Mission Nutrition"; and, "Watts-Up". Participation in Session 1 is not required for this 4-week session.
Crazy Chemworks – Session 1
Oct. 12 - Nov. 2
Crazy Chemworks is an hour-long, 4-week online class which will allow kids to explore solids, liquids and gases at the atomic level.
This special 4-week class is offered via Zoom and covers: "Lab Works"; "Super Sticky Stuff"; "Chem in a Flash"; and, "Slime Time". A second 4-week session will include the remaining classes.
Crazy Chemworks – Session 2
Nov. 16 - Dec. 7
Crazy Chemworks is an hour-long, 4-week online class which will allow kids to explore solids, liquids and gases at the atomic level.
This special 4-week class is offered via Zoom and covers: "pH pHactors"; "Jr. Reactors"; "CheMystery"; and, "Dry Icecapdes". Participation in Session 1 is not required for this 4-week session.

FAQ
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of class, a full refund will only be given if we fill your child's seat. If we do not fill the seat, then a $50 service fee will be deducted from the refund. If your child decides that Mad Science is not for them, you must call Mad Science at 425.556.0800 before the second class for a prorated refund.
+When do I pay?
Payment is required at the time of registration whether through 6Crickets, your PTA or our online registration system.
+What is your class cancellation policy?
We will follow the inclement weather and school closure policy of the school district. We will attempt to schedule a make-up class, provided the cancelled class takes place at least one week before the start of the next program.
+Student expectations
Our goal is to provide an engaging, educational and fun experience for all students. If a child is repeatedly disruptive, we will contact the parents for early pick-up or if behavior doesn't improve, ask that the student withdraw from the class. (A prorated refund will be given at the discretion of Mad Science and/or program sponsor.)
